When i think of uber successful entrepreneurs who do i think of? Loren Ridinger! Loren is the the owner of websites such as My Fashion Cents and LorensWorld. She has created several companies such as Motives Cosmetics and Lorens Jewels. She is not only a businesswoman, but also a mother and role model to many, below Loren answers our questions about fame, fashion, and family!
AB:What else would you be if you weren’t an Internet mogul?.
LR:I think I would be a Talk show host or a police detective
AB: What would be the first thing you would do if today was your last day?
LR: I Hold kiss and hug my daughter, husband and family
What 4 tips would you give to woman who wanted to be as successful as you are?
1. Find your passion
2. Set your goals that you want to achieve
3. Stay focused
4. Don’t go to sleep until it’s done!
AB: What’s your own definition of happiness?
LR: I determine my own happiness. I don’t want other people to determine my happiness, instead I wake up each day doing what I want and love to do. I am fortunate to have a fabulous circle of friends and family that support me. Though, I think in order to define your happiness you have to determine who you love and what you love to do.
AB:What were your dreams as a child?
LR: To do exactly what I’m doing right now and help others succeed
AB: Where do you see yourself in 5-10 years?
LR: I see myself running a multi-billion dollar company, empowering women worldwide and helping others achieve their dreams. I think all things are possible with lots of love and belief
AB: What are some of the issues or challenges you’ve gone through building your multiple businesses?
LR: Time management is critical and also a challenge. You have to prioritize on what is most important first and sometimes everything is a priority. I don’t think 24hrs is enough time to do everything I want to accomplish in one day. Luckily I have an amazing group of people around me that makes it easier for me to juggle.
AB: If you could tell your fans anything what would it be?
LR:Never give up on your dreams, you can be anything you want. I believe you can do it. Anything is possible with lots of hard work and determination.
AB:What do you personally think are the keys to success?
LR: Some key elements to success are: having a great team, determination, focus, drive, setting goals, organization, passion, belief and setting deadlines.
AB: You must be such a busy woman! what do you do in your free time?
LR: What free time J Although, whenever I do get free time, if I get any, I like to do nothing watch movies with my family and daughter and not leave the couch.
AB:Where have you gotten inspiration for your jewelry collection, Loren Jewels?
LR: I’m inspired by girlfriends such as Jennifer Lopez, Kim Kardashian, Eva Longoria, Alicia Keys they all have a great sense of style and fabulous at establishing new ideas. I’m also inspired by my world travels, old Hollywood glamour, and my daughter Amber.
AB: What are your favorite summer and fall beauty/fashion trends?
LR: Some of my favorite fashion trends are: Lace because it looks so romantic, Jade green it’s a gorgeous color, Tuxedo dressing, fringe and leather skirts. For beauty they are: long lashes, side braids, pony tails and metallic eye shadows.
